"The aim and final end of all music should be none other than the glory of God and the refreshment of the spirit." --J.S. Bach
Voices of Carolina is a homeschool choral program meeting in Rock Hill, SC. Our mission is to provide homeschooled students in York County and South Charlotte areas with the opportunity to participate in an excellent choral program.
Singers will gain proper vocal technique, part singing, and stage presence while learning a varied repertoire of standard choral literature.
VOC was originally founded and directed by Kendra Husband, a homeschool mom and professional musician. Now in its 9th year, Voices of Carolina will be new under the leadership of Piedmont Music Academy, an established homeschool music education organization. Check back for complete information regarding Fall 2021.
Our Spring 2020 concert was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID. We had a wonderful group of 15 seniors in our choir. Several had been with VOC from the very beginning. We were saddened by the thought of not being able to finish out the year with music, so a group of them came together over the summer to record one last performance of "Someday" from The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Congrats class of 2020!
