"The aim and final end of all music should be none other than the glory of God and the refreshment of the spirit." --J.S. Bach
Voices of Carolina is a homeschool choral program meeting in Rock Hill, SC. Our mission is to provide homeschooled students in York County and South Charlotte areas with the opportunity to participate in an excellent choral program.
Now in its 9th year, Voices of Carolina is open to grades 3-12. (Spring 2021 will only offer grades 6-12) Singers will gain proper vocal technique, part singing, and stage presence while learning a varied repertoire of standard choral literature.
Voices of Carolina was founded by Kendra Husband, a former homeschool mom and professional musician. Several talented musicians also assist with directing and accompanying.
Our Spring 2020 concert was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID. We had a wonderful group of 15 seniors in our choir. Several had been with VOC from the very beginning. We were saddened by the thought of not being able to finish out the year with music, so a group of them came together over the summer to record one last performance of "Someday" from The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Congrats class of 2020!
